thoughts are spent and twirled into ribbons
night fascinates and sets the brain whirring
tired not exhausted
stories spell comfort and girlish delights
lavishing oneself with rest and fun is time well spent
unsettling coincidences, surreptitious glances
beautiful pieces, heart wrenching nevertheless
incoherence breeds annoyance
consumed with remembering
sleep comes sleep goes
morning comes and light blinds the peepers
the urge to chase yet let slip away
riveted attention kills
depleted, drained, dreary

my nights are once again filled with chattering. two full weeks of chattering, two more days of rest, before we resolve to finish the final lap. it is getting fun, pretty much(: sparkling juices are lip smacking-ly yummy. uh huh. im getting twitchy eyes! must be lack of sleep. new pillows! i hardly have space to turn, now that ive got four pillows and one bolster in tiny supersingle bed. reminds me of housewarming and king sized beds. hahaha, big houses are swell(:

birthdays cant get any sweeter(: i'd say that the birthday bash was magnificent and sumptuous. had a whopping time marinating the food, bbq-ing and getting kept in the dark abt the cake. really thought there wasnt gonna be a cake! hehh gotta say merci beaucoup to all you peeps who were there and for making it so enjoyable for me(: thank you to all you lovely folks who sent cards and presents, wished me early, correctly or late! yupp its the thought that counts, really.

got a mighty surprise from bao and aiming too! uh huh, twas comforting to know that we can talk like the old times, reminisce and catch up with life. as they say, best friends for life(: am one helluva lucky girl to have them! haha.

ahh wells today was a traumatising day for dtt & i. hokay prolly more so for her. lets recount a little shall we? hmmph. it started pouring the moment she got out of house. it stopped the moment she stepped foot at the busstop. we met and tuitioned. dined and had a cuppa tea. got the tea from the further branch tho -.- got a nice refill at the next branch! but not fortunate enough to drink it cos we spilt it. went back for tuition only to find out that i left my file back where we had dinner:( kinda ran in the rain back to get it. we were soaking wet bottom down afterward. hahaha! and this uber unlucky girl realised that the zip to her pencil box got uh ripped? hokay it kinda came off. then then, thats not the end. apparently she heard someone call her name BUT there was no one! gahh and finally she got of the train and had to walk up the flight of escalator cos it broke down. hehh i feel for you girl! sucha long and dreadful rainy day! its jinxed, or so she says but small accidents averts huge disasters yes? haha i prefer to see it that way. so chill & dont get too stressed out k!

that was one long draining recount. hahaa, mishaps do make the day pretty interesting and rollercoaster-ish(: i love being eighteen albeit feeling a tad old!
